Very good garage with reasonable prices. Parking can be a problem, but you can park up just be careful. The adjoining shop for spares is unsurpassable.

I came to this garage on a recommendation from a friend at work. Being in the military community we pride on using local businesses. Came to this garage for a front drivers side indicator bulb. Straight forward youd think! Actually not! So upon asking for this bulb, the younger gent was really pleasant and came out to check what bulb would be required for purchase. Some 20 mins after almost taking the front of my car to bits as he said he could not locate the bulb and it may be in the headlight or have dropped into the under tray of the car? Then they attempted to fit not one but two incorrect bulbs. So I was then told that I needed to bring my car back the next day to be put onto the ramp. For what I believe to be their error as I fail to believe the bulb just came loose as I could see it when I pulled into the garage. So booked in for 10am the next day. I arrive with my car, I approach the desk to be informed that my car will be done as and when a ramp becomes available and that I would be charged labour for them not being able to locate a bulb that I believe they dislodged and is now becoming quite an issue for a new bulb fit. The senior mechanic soon becomes irate and insulates that Ive called his staff stupid to top it all off! Which of course is not the case. When he admitted himself yesterday that he couldnt feel a bulb and that that particular junior member of staff should not have taken on doing this job! So now this 10 min job is 2 days. I have now been told that they can confirm the bulb is in the headlight unit and that my specialist bulb required for a VW golf 15 plate is a specialist order for between 18-20. When Halfords charge that for the we fit service! Inc the bulb. Sad to see that such a well formed local business treats customers so badly! I suggest no one at RAF Halton or wendover uses them!

We have used Wendover Motor Spares alot for everything to do with our cars, they have always been honest with us, and done a good job, etc. We took our newly purchased Jeep in for a service as its 20 years old, as far as we were aware (non car type people!) It looked in ship shape The seller had it MOT'd at another garage, where it passed with just a few advisories. The guys at Wendover Motor Spares told us to come in for a chat after we booked it in for a service. they went through everything that SHOULD have been done on the car that was missed during the other garages MOT, gave us amazing advice, and wording that we would never have known, told us exactly what to do to get the car sorted and charged us nothing for the privilege. They have saved us an awful lot of money. We have always spoken highly of Red Rose/Wendover Motor Spares but right now we are shouting from the roof how amazing they are. Thank you guys. Truly.
