Just wanted a prescription for my daughter for acne which has been there for 6 months. Had to wait 3 weeks for a phonecall . Wouldn't talk to me as she is over 16. Based on a picture and brief phonecall, he gave her a prescription for impetigo which it isn't! I rung back (waited in a queue for an hour)was told another 3 weeks for another phonecall or try and ring tomorrow at 8 . Rung at 8, waited in a queue. Got told at 815 all appointments had gone. Gave up, went private, paid 200 for a 5 min consultation and a prescription for acne. What a total and utter waste of time for all involved!

What a shower! Moved back into the area in August 2019. I have been allocated to at least three different doctors in the interim. I have only met one doctor which was shortly after I moved in, he turned out to be a locum who terminated the appointment announcing that he had run out of time (10 mins!). MY present doctor is Dr Shaik, a charming lady who is extremely empathetic and I would say an excellent medico but we could meet each other in the street and not know each other. Trying to contact the surgery by phone is a joke that is getting steadily worse and the automatic system now simply says we can't take your call! The only sure way of speaking to a receptionist or pharmacist is to get in your car and drive to Wendover. Wonderful!

After another scary experience with trying to get help from the surgery for a medical situation and the fuss and incompetence that ensued we decided our health was too important to risk any similar situation again. We left and joined another surgery. It seems they think they are there to do us a favour. They have committed to work in the service / public industry. They have obligations to meet those expectations.

Waited in the phone for 45 minutes to go from position 8 to 4!! Got in the car and drove to the surgery to find it empty with 1 person on reception - who appeared to be playing solitaire on the computer. Still queuing on the phone. In the end it was almost an hour before I got through to being next at which point I hung up because I was in the empty surgery talking to a receptionist with nothing to do. Who then told me the earliest appointment I could get with a doctor was over 2 weeks away!!! I asked for their complaint procedure, and was told they did not know what it was and couldn't find it!! The doctors, when you can see them are good. The management of the surgery and the reception is shocking and appalling. How they are allowed to continue operating is a incredulous.
