Princess Mary Gate Convenience Store

The PMG Store is a great convenience shop serving the new housing estate built on the former RAF Halton hospital facility. Run by Manny and his family (who own a number of small convenience stores in the locality) they offer a friendly and helpful shopping experience since approximately 2014. The shop is well laid out, modern and well stocked at all times. It has all the essentials that you would require and expect for a shop of this size. There is a larger Budgens in Wendover town centre however it is a good 10 minutes walk away an uphill coming back. Manny always seems to be on duty and it is great chatting to him when I pick up the milk and other bits and pieces.

I have shopped here for years and love it for all sorts of reasons. Yes, it's literally a convenience store in that it's location and services offered (eg Collect+ drop point) are extremely convenient. However, what I really love is that it is family owned and run. The owners couldn't be more friendly and warm-hearted.
