An incredibly rustic pub, friendly service staff and relatively cheap for England. We had a burger and fried ham with a fried egg, along with delicious fries. Delicious. But what we liked best was the ambiance. Ancient beams, lovingly decorated dining room... you couldn't get enough of it.

Wir standen hier ber Nacht mit unserem Campervan.
Ein unglaublich uriges Pub, freundliches Servicepersonal und fr England relativ gnstig. Wir hatten einen Burger und gebratenen Schinken mit Spiegelei, dazu leckere Pommes. Sehr lecker. Aber am besten gefiel uns das Ambiente. Uralte Balken, liebevoll dekorierte Gaststube...man konnte sich nicht satt sehen.

No wonder this place has gone downhill. Their refusal to support local business by offering simple parking whilst closed to the local outstanding bakery means myself and many others will no longer support this pub.
