Alpha Chartered Surveyors

I went with Alpha to support a local business and because they assured me they would be able to conduct the survey the earliest of the quoted options I had albeit being more expensive. Unfortunately this commitment wasn't honoured (which then led to a further delay due to the snow). Second and third deadlines set by Alpha were also missed - for a verbal debrief and for the final report. When I got the report it was of a really poor quality and had very limited useful information - far from the level of report from a different surveyors when we bought our current flat. I think the surveyor I dealt with was perhaps a one off in the team as the other colleague I spoke to when chasing her had great customer service. It really pained me to pay the invoice for such a frustrating experience and service, so I missed the deadline too.

Grant and Charlotte at Alpha wereefficientand helpful from the get-go. They provided us with an incrediblydetailed report of the property we are hoping to buy,and talked us through all of theissues raised. They always answer the phone, respond to emails and have been happyto answer any questions we've had. The team are clearly experts in their field and we really appreciate theirefficiencyand attention to detail. We would definitelyrecommend and use them again.

If we had not asked Alpha Chartered Surveyors to survey the property we really wanted to buy we would have been in real trouble, we knew there was work to be done but after our survey we realized that to do all that needed to be done we would have had to pay out the asking price again to get the house up to standard.. Job well done thank you. Refused the house
