We spent 2 nights at The Wellington as we were attending a wedding at nearby Brocket Hall. Welwyn is a small but very pretty and historic village and the Wellington is in the main High Street. On arrival we were greeted by Ellie who showed us to our room which was stunning with a mix of old and new features. The bed was comfy with lovely pillows and a Nespresso machine (with pods), biscuits and toiletries were a nice surprise too. Dinner was great on our first night and portions were very generous. Breakfast was included in our room rate and there was lots of choice and again big tasty portions. Although the Wellington is a stunning old historic building the staff make it that extra bit special. Ellie and her team were always on hand to help and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very well looked after. Thank you for a lovely weekend
