Welwyn Garden Launderette

I've been coming here for years, more often in the wintertime for drying. Friendly, Italian run launderette, not staffed all the time. Machines are clean and easy to operate. It's got more expensive over the years but that's down to cost of electricity. It's located in a small parade of shops, with a bakery, co-op, take aways, cafe and a couple of charity shops. So you can easily waste some time while you clothes wash and dry.

It was a pleasant experience overall. The big washing machines are 6. Little ones are 5 and take on average 40 minutes to wash your clothes. You have the big dryers (1 = 8 minutes) The lady that worked inside was very lovely as well as the owner who helped us out with the machines and how they work. Overall, get ready to spend 25+ if you have more than 2 bags of clothes. A very good launderette though!

Had to use this laundrette for the first time today because my washing machine broke. The very kind Giuseppe showed me how to use the washing machine and dryer. Visited again this morning to dry my towels and some other bits. It was lovely and quiet. The lady who works there is lovely friendly lady and I wish to thank her so much for my lovely hot coffee on a cold morning

I come here occasionally for the convenience of the dyers and occasionally the larger machines, however, it has really gone down hill in recent years. A large majority of the machines and dryers are frequently "out of service" and most could do with a deep clean to be honest to remove the mold and dirt around the rubber. The entire place needs to be refurbished and the machines needs to be cleaned or replaced.
