Great service as usual, and we didn't have to wait very long for a new boiler to be fitted.

Just had Sweeney's inspect gas in my rented property. Arrived and rushed straight upstairs to look at boiler. I then remembered (somehow forgot for a second!?) that we are in the middle of a pandemic and became very upset that this company clearly have NO PROCEDURES FOR COVID and apparently do not care about keeping their customers or any of the wider community safe. He didn't attempt to show me that he had used hand gel at any point (have had builders come during this time in PPE who have shown me hand gel use on the doorstep), was not wearing a mask, touched so many areas of my home and proceeded to whistle whilst working and cough several times whilst leaning over the fireplace. I have asthma and during the visit realised that this is really bad practice and against government guidelines. After he completed visit and was rushing out the door I stopped him and tried to explain that I was really upset that he used no procedures to minimise transmission risk whilst in my home. He became very defensive and said that I should have told him to put on a mask if I wanted him to wear one and kept saying "I've apologised, what more can I do?". Perhaps I should have asked him to put one on but by the time I realised he hadn't he had already completed most of the inspection. If a company gives a monkeys about their customers (and surely their reputation?) then they should offer or automatically wear one. There are people they visit who may be unable to ask for various very real reasons. I asked him if he had a mask on him, and he said he had one in his van parked down the road. Why did he not have it on him?! He did not say he had cleaned his hands before entering, so as far as I know he hadn't. I asked him to PLEASE in future wear a mask and take precautions as he may visit people more vulnerable than me who are too shy/unable to say something. This company clearly has no respect for customers or any procedures in place to protect everyone during this pandemic.

I have used Ben, Sam and Ryan who work for Sweeney's Gas for nearly 10 years. They have helped me with many broken boilers and leaks and are so quick to respond and are very reliable and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

I have used Ben Sweeney for about 5 years now and have always found that he responds to my calls quickly. He has repaired boilers at speed to ensure my tenants are without heating or hot water for a limited amount of time. Ben and his team carry out gas safety checks for me every year at a time that is convenient for my tenants. Once a year Ben or a member of his team, check my gas fire. I can always rely on them to turn up on time, carry out the safety check and not leave any mess. Ben and his team are always polite and professional. This year Sweeneys Gas has in my experience followed all COVID rules and guidelines.

Have used Sweeney's Gas several times over the years (boiler service, etc.) and always been very happy. Recently had a leak in my underfloor heating system, plumber arrived and repaired the same morning. No fuss, very efficient.
