Some great sailing clubs (try Welsh Harp Sailing Club - excellent training) and access to a physical sport that gets you fit & enjoying outdoor pursuits - that are good for your health - all year round.

Not a client of this club so my review should be treated as such. However, we were training (RYA sailing Level 1) with a nearby club and a lot of other people were using our course. All of them knew what they were doing as opposed to us, who had very little control of our boats. The area was clearly marked as a training zone and still people sailed right through our training buoyes, at times even using them to have some fun. To add to this a lot of windsurfers were also training in the same spot. Our instructor had to tell people many times to clear the area as we were beginners and we also had to do the same a couple of times. One of the gentleman who seemed to be an instructor at Welsh Harp was quite rude to us. I really don't care whether there is some rivalry between clubs but this kind of behaviour is both unsafe and rude. What would have happened if one of our boats hit one of the windsurfers? Please try to do better. We're all trying to enjoy this beautiful sport and newbies should be helped not impeded or sabotaged in their learning no matter which club they are training with.
