Boots Pharmacy

There is always a problem collecting prescriptions here, either the chemist isn't in so your made to wait hours (why bother being open then?) or they don't have the medication in which usually just means as with any other pharmacy that they'd order it for you to collect the next day, not so with Boots, "sorry it's not in stock" which means they don't bother ordering it at all. I've only gone in here when I've been to the local medical centre it's not my usual pharmacy but if it is, I'd suggest changing it to one that's more reliable especially if you rely on your medication to function day to day.

Inside the store they were lovely, on the phone they were rude. Trying to sort out important medication but every phone call I was told a different thing and when I was trying to explain the situation I was spoken over and told they knew better (when in fact they were wrong and ended up with me going through hoops just to prove them wrong). The last phone call I was told they couldnt provide anything for me, spent the whole day running around to then be told there was nothing they could do.

Abbey the manager at Boots Priory Health Centre in Wells is the most helpful person I have had the pleasure of dealing with. She promptly dealt with our prescriptions when we was prescribed a different brand which my husband is allergic too. Its a pleasure to know that you have someone you can rely on when you are on lifetime medication. Keep up the good work.
