Customer service staff very helpful in locating a pharmacy open on a holiday at Christmas whilst I was staying in Wells.

Pretty much ALWAYS make mistakes but I feel for them because the system is not fluid. It's TERRIBLE. Heartbreaking seeing their stress levels every week. The NHS system (paperwork) is so prehistoric, they need to refer to online NI numbers/Patient number references for EVERYTHING, simply through an app or online. Too much needless paperwork and faffing about cross reference checking everything twice, they need a smoother, quicker procedure for these prescriptions. Also, I believe a 'waiting area' should be implemented so as to ease patient stress and Pharmacists should be able to diagnose and prescribe for minor medical issues so as to ease Doctor workloads. Self referring too could help. For 21 years and over. A simple chip implant, a medical tag implant to scan ourselves and every month automatically have our meds done like that online, or through a simple app. Staff issues - raise their wages. Create an incentive.

After a difficult period of change, loss of staff and poor service, this pharmacy has turned it around! An effective refurb, new staff who are helpful and know their job, and this morning a prescription filled in 10 minutes flat. Well done.

Turned up for my flu jab this afternoon after leaving work early to be told that the pharmacist phoned in sick so I couldnt have my jab. I wasnt the only person affected by this, one person even driving from Portsmouth to have the jab only to be turned away. Its no one elses fault who works in the pharmacy, but a text would have been great. They take your details upon booking so surely a phone call, email, or text wouldnt go amiss? Thank god I get paid a salary and not contracted hours otherwise I would have lost money as well as time. The pharmacist I spoke to was lovely, its just a shame this experience has caused me to rate it so lowly.
