Blue Skies Campsite

A nice small campsite in Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk. Pitches are flatish and a good size and the owners are friendly. The site is generally quiet and comfortable. Downsides: lack of hookups means lots of smelly barbecues and wood burners. Also, some people seem to treat the road which runs alongside the site as a racetrack (although maybe this is a Bank Holiday weekend phenomenon).

Such a lovely campsite! We stayed for 2 nights over the May Day bank holiday and we absolutely loved it. Chris and Pat were really helpful and nice! The campsite was in a fantastic location, very close to wells. The facilities were clean and really nice. We had our two dogs and little girl with us so we were pitched right next to the park on the campsite and it was perfect - such a nice atmosphere with lots of families. Our daughter made lots of friends and loved her stay, as did we. Also - very well priced! If youre looking for a family break, perfect for kids and close to the beach.. blue skies is the perfect place! Thanks so much! Linda, Alex and Betsy! (And the two sausages dogs!)

Just a 5 star experience as always. Out of season or peak season this site is always ran with a great attitude and Ive always felt at home. We had to book on the day of arrival and arriving at a later time of 6:30/7 which is not ideal for anyone running a site. I have been to Blue Skies before, but the relaxed approach to hosting us was brilliant. We had to shoot off in the morning and so we were in with the chance of not seeing any staff, but we easily worked out a way of getting them the money as they cant take money over the phone. The facilities are as advertised, theyre rustic and what youd expect for a campsite. You stay not just for facilities but a brilliant location and how youre made to feel. We were made to feel right at home and will definitely be staying again this summer.
