Wow this little gem of a cottage is just magical. This was the perfect little break we needed. Wells is absolutely beautiful, and Fisherman's Cottage is situated in the best location, right on the harbour with a gorgeous walk to one of the best beaches in England I think we've ever seen! You could even see the sea from the bedroom window, the little touches were amazing, from the gorgeous linen to the organic toiletries, the coffee machine & pods, the log burner (even the logs we're provided) the owners really have thought of everything. We genuinely can't wait to return. Thank you Fisherman's Cottage for the most wonderful stay.

Wonderful stone cottage on the East End of Wells-next-the-Sea! Michelle is a wonderful host; the cottage has been renovated in excellent fashion. Spent a very comfortable few days here, with views of the water and a short walk to everything. I will definitely be back!

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend away with our Working Cocker Spaniel Nellie in this cosy beautiful cottage. A complete escape. Lots of beach walks and lovely pubs along the way. Costal bus also came in handy to see other locations with no hassle with driving or parking. A detailed guide provided from the owners was all explained with places to eat entertainment etc. Will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely holiday staying in the Fishermans Cottages at the beginning of May. It had everything you needed for self catering, with towels and bedding included. The cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard with lovely decoration and finishes. We loved the log burner which made the cottage feel really cosy. The cottage is dog friendly with bed, bowl and even has a shower outside for mucky paws! You can sit on a bench just outside and watch the sea and boats and enjoy the sunshine. It is ideally located to walk to the harbour where you can watch the fisherman come in with the catch of the day. The local beach is amazing and goes on for miles The area is perfect for dog walks on the beach and you can also walk through a nature reserve. Wells-next-the-Sea has a lovely variety of independent retailers including coffee shops and restaurants. We were staying just before restaurants opened for indoor dining however we were able to enjoy takeaway fish and chips from Frenchs and a delicious pizza from the Golden Fleece. We also enjoyed a coffee at BTOI (Bring the Outside In). We noticed that there are also no big retailers, restaurants or coffee shops everything was independent which was lovely to see. There is a Co-op supermarket which is situated slightly out of the town and easy to get to by foot so you can stock up on your essentials. Keep an eye out for the local Alpacas!! that are normally on a trek throughout the town - if you miss them their field is just opposite the Co-op! We would highly recommend it and can't wait to return soon.
