The Normans

We hired the Normans for a large family celebration and what a fantastic choice it proved to be. It offers something special for all generations. Cosy nooks and crannies - for those who want to curl up on a comfy settee with a book, the cinema room for teenagers and young adults and the pool room for those with a more competitive streak. With bedrooms on multiple floors, it never felt as if we were on top of each other. The unique dining room (extending candle chandelier overhanging a table that could sit 16 quite comfortably) had ample space for us all to get together for evenings to enjoy food, drink and party games. In terms of location, it couldn't be better placed. The high street with its butcher, baker and fishmonger is within a 5 minute stroll and the glorious beach a mere 5 minute drive or a brisk 20 minute walk. The kitchen is well stocked with every plate, bowl and accessory you could wish for and the bathrooms even have their own "Normans" branded shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We can't recommend the house highly enough and will be sure to be back soon.

Our extended family had a special stay at The Normans where we relaxed and enjoyed this beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious home from home. The quality of the finishing is excellent and every room is extremely comfortable. The location, so close to the quay, makes it easy to enjoy the sea and the town. Whatever the weather there is plenty to entertain all ages and interests. We highly recommend this gem of a find.

Ten of us recently stayed at The Normans and the whole experience was fantastic. The facilities are all very good, the bedrooms are lovely and the house is very comfortable. Everything (furnishings, linen, crockery etc.) is of very high quality and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending The Normans.
