Stopped here for New years and was a wonderful experience. Peter and Maddie were great hosts providing tasty breakfasts and comfy rooms, so peaceful and quiet. Would love to stop again in the near future.

After a change of plans for our Silver Wedding Anniversary on the 18th October, we found this 16th Century gem. Peter and Maddie made us feel welcome and were very informative. Everything about this place, from the lovely four-poster bedroom overlooking East Quay, with quality bed linen, towels, coffee machine and complimentary tray with local tea and good coffee, was faultless. This also included the breakfast which Peter went through the menu with you each morning. Good choice of everything, locally sourced and freshly cooked to order, and nothing was too much trouble. Jams and marmalade were delicious, homemade by Maddie. All served on a crisp white linen tablecloth and napkins. This was just the place to unwind and enjoy the area. Thank you Peter and Maddie.
