Called last Thursday morning and spoke to a lady (not the owner) at length explaining my son's traumatic air accident and some of his injuries and that we needed an orthotics assessment and clinical report produced. Not the friendliest person to talk to and still have not received a call back. Frustrating as they were the closest to us but will now go elsewhere.

Excellent practice, my baby is currently having helmet therapy with Lucy and we have seen amazing results already! Lucy has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Lovely location and a very personalised service you know you are getting the very best treatment. I would 100% recommended Hampshire Orthotics for helmet therapy or any other treatment.

We went to Lucy to explore a LOCband for our son at 8.6months and truly didnt know what to expect because our gp had been telling us that his head shape was normal and would correct itself. We were so shocked when we did get the results from Lucy off our first scan that our son was in the severe 2 category for plagiocephaly. We knew there and then that we would need to start this process as soon as possible to get the best outcome because of his age - starting this late we may not get a normal head shape. If I had listened to my gut feeling when he was only a few months old we would have had a better result. We are so glad that we chose to do this journey for our son because the changes in just 4.6 months are incredible. Lucy has been fantastic throughout the whole process. Any query no matter the time and day she would always respond and put our mind at ease shes just fantastic and I couldnt recommend her more!! Thank-you Lucy for giving our son the best start in life we will miss you! X

Our son came to see Lucy at 4 months old having been seeing an Osteopath for Torticollis and worsening flat spots on his head due to him pressing against my pelvis for the last 7 weeks of pregnancy. As a family we had been attempting repositioning while he was asleep as well as lots of tummy time but this sadly did not work. The Osteopath recommended having a consultation with Lucy to discuss options and what a cranial helmet, LOCBand would do for him. Lucy advised he had 18mm asymmetry as well as bossed left forehead and cheek and unlevel ears. She diagnosed him with severe Plagiocephaly and advised him having a LOCBand as repositioning had been unsuccessful. As parents, this was a daunting prospect and we didnt know how he would respond or what the results would be. Lucy hoped that he might get to the edge of normal and mild over a 6 month period. We decided getting a LOCBand for him would be the best thing for his future and we have been nothing but amazed with Lucys care and the results. Getting used to the LOCBand, our son wearing it, taking it on and off and the weaning process was a challenge and the adjustment for him was tough but he was more resilient than us and was used to it in no time. By the time it got to him wearing it all the time, the weaning process had been forgotten. I am writing this having just had the LOCBand taken off and our son finishing his journey on 2mm asymmetry which is beyond anything we could have ever dreamt of for him. He wore the LOCBand for 22-23 hours a day for 2 and a half months which is under half of the time expected and also for him to measure only 2mm asymmetry is incredible. If you are reading this having been advised your child should have a LOCBand fitted or to have a consultation, I would recommend you to not wait to do so and all the worries you may have will be forgotten within a few weeks. We are so pleased we went to see Lucy when he was only 4 months old as his head was still so small and soft the results Lucy was able to achieve for him is down to this. In short, we are so pleased we went through with getting the LOCBand for our son and the results we have had are beyond anything we could have ever thought would be possible. Thank you Lucy for all your kindness, knowledge and support.
