Just returned from a night fish with my little lad. The venue catered well for our campervan with our swim very nearby which if often hard to find. The owners and the guy in tackle shop are very friendly and accommodating, with a relaxed approach. The cooked breakfast in the on site cafe was awesome! We will be back soon for sure !

Excellent venue, on-site cafe and well stocked tackle shop so you really have everything you could need. The owner and staff were both incredibly courteous, friendly and helped me as a novice angler to make sure I had what I needed and what I should be doing. There are three waters to fish, all beautiful. I got set up on the canal style lake (the rail) which I was told could be difficult. The fish were absolutely flying out for me today and I couldn't of been more thrilled. Over 40. All small roach and perch but for me was fantastic sport. The grounds are immaculate, could happily spend afternoons here without even fishing! Stopped at lunch for a gelato which was delicious! Cannot fault Whinwhistle fishery, and very much look forward to coming back soon. 5/5
