The place to go to for all your bakery needs, excellent quality and amazing customer service. Top rated flours for my sourdough bread, also a beautiful range of baking pans. Regular customer, special pan bought once which came faulty from the American factory, they replaced it without questions, despite of their extra care around packaging and delivery. Highly recommended

Quality product and even better customer service. After an error with delivery by DPD, the customer service team acted swiftly and were able to resend a gift via Next Day Delivery which arrived before Christmas. Really impressed and would certainly recommend.

Brilliant and extensive premium choice of flours, grains, roasted malt. But also very good equipment, such as the well made leather oven gloves. And their newsletter brings up tasty recipes and interesting offers. You might find Christmas gifts for the baker in your life.

I recently bought one of your Pullman bread tins with lid the 43cmx10x10. We wanted to have an easy shape to allow toasting without bits that did not toast with bread made in an open tin. It did take me a while to come up with a suitable recipe as we use a lot of wholemeal flour in our recipes. After help from Bakery bits and a bit of trial and error I have it sorted. We are having delightful bread fully toasted and lovely soft centre but with crunchie outside, served with homemade plum jam every day is a so good when we bite into the toast. I chose the 43cm tin so I could make a shipping load at once! We fetch a couple out of the freezer first thing in the morning, job done. We like occasional toasted sarnies our slices fit exactly so they are now much better. We are so pleased with the bread and also choosing Bakery bits they have been really helpful.

I have been using Bakery Bits for a few years and have always been more than happy with their service. The delivery is fast, the bags of flour so beautifully wrapped in brown paper before being put into the boxes. All wrapping goes into my compost heaps, there has never been any plastic used to pad out the boxes. The choice of small mill flours is excellent, my favourite being Gilchesters, the complex flavours from their wholemeal is delicious. I recently swapped onto Bakery Bits plastic banneton because my old cane ones did not like being used for retarded dough, I was worried it would be difficult to turn out, but it's been fine and often easier than the cane ones, provided you oil and flour well using rye flour as instructed by Bakery Bits. I can't imagine buying my flour or sundry tools anywhere else now. These guys really know their stock and take pride in their careful shipments of well chosen small mill flours. They also have the full range of Marriages flour, so for me, all the best flours are easy to source and I know the bags will be fresh and not stale from lack of stock turnover. Whatever you need for bread, they will have it and it will be packed with care. I've been making my own bread weekly since the 1970s Bakery strikes, never have I had such a wonderful choice of flour as I do now.
