Marsh House Farm

We stayed 11 nights on the CS using our caravan as a base to visit family who live near by. The owners Brian and Tracy were very welcoming explaining whats what and where on the site. The toilets, shower and utility room facilities are very good with plenty of hot water etc and kept very clean. Nearer our departure date we were offered a workshop to dry the awning out if needed, another thoughtful touch. The pitch fee was inclusive of electricity and in these costly times we made efforts to minimise our use where possible. We put up a porch awning on the grass and considering the heavy rain we had it did not get boggy. The hard standings easly accomodate 8m caravans and must be 3m wides so are wide enough to provide a solid path around to the various service points on the caravan if your not using an awning And if you think you have seen a small black panther - that will be Zeus, the owners cat doing his daily patrol around the site. I cant recall being on a site where everybody was so friendly, not the case here with cheery hello's and chit chat.. We definately recommend this site and intend to use again.

We stayed in Rose Cottage at Marsh House Farm. The cottage was beautiful, very clean and well kept. Perfect size for two people. Enjoyed our short stay. Very helpful and welcoming hosts who went above and beyond and gave us a lift to pick our car up from the wedding venue the next morning. Would highly recommend and will be happy to stay there again in the future.
