6th feb 2023UPDATE STILL WAITING, now have spoken to 3 different customer care teams and had several dates given when repairs will be done. As yet the team promised in December, and then January never turned up and no communication from TingDene. They dont answer e mails, or ring back when promised, and anything you write on the fb page is instantly deleted. Never know such an unhelpful woman as the one in customer care, basically told me tough , its not her fault and I have to wait like I have been doing for past two years. When I painted this out I was told Im not the only one with problems , lots of people are waiting.. oh and the guy that wrote on the bottom of this review Im still waiting for him to contact me. I purchased a hayden classic home just about 4 years ago, my next door neighbour also has a home from them, a month ago the poor lady next door informed me that her back wall had delamination and was soaking water like a sponge, Tingdene didn't want to know, even though home was only four years old, imagine my horror, when only a month later, in exactly the same place my home is also bubbling up and holding water. Seems a huge coincidence that both homes have exactly the same fault, I'm waiting to hear back, but have already consulted legal advice. Would not reccomend them at all, I'm hoping I can change this review about customer service, we will see! Edit June 14th 2022, well I'm still waiting. Despite emails telling me this was going to be fixed at the end of this month, I've now been advised that this is not so and the only info I have is thT it will be done sometime this year, and that was only because I emailed to ask what time the team was arriving. Customer service was truly abysmal, apparently over 100 homes have this problem, that says it all. Tingdene won't tell me any info about the company they have said will do the work. Would love to hear from someone in charge and not a woman that has only been in the job two weeks and admitted she knows nothing! Back to you tingdene, the resin is literally peeling from my walls all over!!!

Absolute nightmare still waiting for snagging list to be done bathroom radiator and tap u/s guttering leaking squeaky floor front door jamming down pipes not finished toilet not sealed

Customer service is atrocious, once again we have been let down. We have been waiting 19 months to have 2 windows replaced. It has been a nightmare. Should have come in February but never turned up, after numerous emails and phone calls they came today 22/11/22. The windows were sub standard so we sent them back. They obviously don't read the reviews as there hasn't been 1 good one. The management obviously don't care about standards.

Latest 3/5/23 Tingdene due to come next week now 15 months after reporting the problem lets see if they do. This is the latest update on a one year old problem read below this entry for the full story 20/01/23 Now nearly 12 months since fault reported, Tingdene emailed me at 06.17 AM this morning asking if they could come today with a replacement window. Never going to say no given the long term issues we are having. Engineers arrived with the replacement window which was again the wrong size! The third visit with a window that was the wrong size even though the engineers measure it while here. They then broke that unit putting it back in the van. Completely baffled how you can bring the wrong size three times? Just totally frustrating experience this can surely only be happening to us otherwise service like this would result in going bankrupt. One of our double glazing units became faulty in Feb 2022, we arranged with Tingdene for a replacement which they said was free. Their engineer came in March but the window he brought was the wrong size, something we predicted would happen based on previous experiences. We then called them every month for an update each time being told its all in hand but then nothing happened. Eventually we were told a replacement would be brought on Oct 4th 2022 and there was a fitting charge of 140. The first time any charge had been mentioned. We waited in on Oct 4th and at midday when nobody had visited I called Tingdene to be told they were not coming today. We were not surprised. Tingdenes customer service in the past two years has become terrible if you are considering buying a home from them you should think very carefully about using a company that cannot look after you once it has been delivered. Additional Updates After not showing up on Oct 4th Tingdene said they would be coming on the 6th. Again we waited in and at lunchtime rang them to be told again the engineer was not coming, no call from them to tell us that. The wait goes on. Next date to arrive was the 13th Oct late on the 12th I rang to check if coming to find out tomorrow is also cancelled. On Oct 20th an engineer from Tingdene arrived with a replacement unit, unbelievably just as back in March it was the wrong size again! Nov 1st today still waiting to hear when they are coming back. Now nine and a half months since it was reported Dec 4th Tindene rang to ask if they could fit the window on Dec 10th just our luck we will be away on holiday. The next date they have will on Jan 10th 2023. If that actually happens it will be 11 months after reporting the problem. We rang Tingdene on the 9th of Jan 2023 to check what time they would be visiting us on the 10th, only to be told they were not coming as the glass had not arrived, nobody thought to inform us as per usual! We were told by the engineer who came on the 20th of Oct he would make sure the glass was ordered so how come they do not have it 3 months later. Also Tingdene had offered to fit the glass on Dec the 10th so they must have had the glass then so how come on Jan 10th they do not have the glass? New date given now of Jan 26th 2023. Two weeks short of 12 months when we first reported this problem. How can you buy from Tingdene if you read this report. Tingdene if you are reading this fix my problem and I will let people know you did actually do something.

Former employee so much that is missed in the real shop that makes these "quality items" So much. Aall that too one side the semi autocratic nepastism that holds no respect for disabilities oh dear. Before & after going into detail of this within both employee positions. A Fully qualified professional master craftsman. A Gold CSCS card with much to know and say about staff and the workers that are not trained for any of there policies they promote. Production is more valued than a quality that is left too the workers there for 20 years plus.
