We have used Alliance heating for past 5 years and always found Glenn to be very professional, conscientious, reliable and honest . Always available when we need him , always friendly with a smile. Definitely recommend this company. We would not trust anyone else with our plumbing, heating etc... very fairly priced service . Very happy customer . Service: Heating system maintenance

What I wish we had known Firstly, in the spirit of being fair, we had a new boiler and sealed heating system installed by Alliance 5 years ago and we were very happy with the installation experience and initial performance of it. However, a short while later we required a larger expansion tank. They came back and installed this at further cost. However, that was the end of any positive interactions. Over time the central heating has become less and less efficient. We have done the usual home maintenance (bleeding radiators etc) but to no avail. We are told it is a balancing problem. My elderly mother lives with us. We have made him aware of this and the necessity of a warm bedroom for her. And now, when someone is having a shower and a hot water tap elsewhere is turned on, only a trickle of water comes out from it. We have emailed, phoned and spoken to his admin lady and left further answerphone messages but have not had a response. Finally, using another phone, managed to speak to the proprietor Glen, who told me he was very busy but would get back to me with a date. 3 weeks later, I texted him and asked him bluntly, if he intended to make an appointment to come and fix this, but never heard back from him (and I know he read it). It's not as if we want him to come out to us for no payment. We understand things over time can deteriorate but it is clear now that this company has no after sales ethic. So, buyer beware. If you want a central system installed well then this is probably your man however when things go wrong, simply forget any hope of him coming back to help. Absolutely fed up with being messed about by this guy. Says hes going to turn up and doesnt. Weve been quite patient. All he had to do was follow up his customer after sales care. We had our boiler serviced last year, our booklet wasnt anywhere to be found at the time. We were told its not an issue, we can get it signed once we find it,as they are just round the corner. Now we have sold the house and waiting to exchange contracts, we cant because theres no service report for the boiler! Every time we arrange a day and time we end up sitting in waiting for him to only not turn up or even bother to make contact. What does it take to forward a service report and sign a service record. Too much it seems, even if your a loyal customer. Not good at all! Service: Heating system maintenance
