Poor practice and rude reception - slim chance of speaking to anyone on the phone. I waited on hold multiple times for 20+ minutes duration during by break times in work after being sent a text message telling me I needed a medication review and that without this future medication may be delayed. I wanted to sort this as I know how shockingly hard it is to get an appointment even when they are the ones requesting it! I ended up having to go in person as I couldnt get through on the phone. I was told the first available appointment was 6 weeks away which I booked and that I needed a blood test and didnt need a form (normal for me to need blood tests for my medications and normal not to be given forms now) I booked my blood test that day and this was supposed to be today however I turned up and they said they dont have any blood requests and to phone the GP when I finally got through I was told the person had advised me incorrectly (apparently they were new and in training ) and I needed to book a medication review . I told her that I had booked a medication review but she spoke over me and interrupted me to say I needed to book for about a month away ( 2 weeks later than my current scheduled appointment) I reiterated that I already had an appointment and again was spoken over and told I needdd to cancel it and book this new date I then spoke more loudly as I didnt know how else to be clear that I already had a medication review booked when they finally agreed that I did actually have a medication review booked and I didnt need to change this but that they would arrange a blood test afterwards. They were unapologetic at the fact I had taken time off work and driven to an appointment that couldnt be fulfilled despite being told this in person and only when I stated that this was unacceptable did they offer a half hearted apology. The message I receive indicated my medication which will be due before the medication review takes place will be delayed but I have been told on the phone that they will supply this I unfortunately do not trust what they tell me know and fully expect to have to waste more time trying to get medication ordered or just go without totally lost faith that they know what they are doing at all. I will say that whenever I have actually seen a clinician they have been great but it is fairly infrequent. I feel thankful that I dont have to interact with the surgery often - although maybe their aim is to put everyone off contacting them?!!

Never have I ever spoken to someone so rude and disrespectful! I am disgusted. I could never speak to my patients the was they do. Should be ashamed of themselves. Need staff that work for the passion and like to help people. Does not even deserve 1 star! Absolutely disgusting!

God awful staff especially one women in particular. Incredibly rude to me and my partner. IMPOSSIBLE to get a appointment as the phone systems are so bad also due to the fact they just dont want to give you one unless the RECEPTIONISTS deem fit. Dr Ellis is a delight to deal with though, very helpful and goes above and beyond for his patients but getting an appointment with him is damn near impossible again due to the poor receptionist staff.
