Club is getting a bit old and dated now. Not all lockers and showers work, nothing to show for price increases over the years. Weight area gets busy, not enough space or weight equipment. Overall though it is a nice club and friendly welcoming staff/people.

2 words! VAL KIPLIN! Absolutely incredible Best csr srv ive ever had! Her warm welcome! Her lovely smile Her warm energy Her knowledge This facility is very nice. Everything n everywhere was spotless! No matter how i tried, i jus cdnt find fault! N im a picky fussy one! Bannatyne centres are rated on a '12 tier' system each tier has a group of locations in it where you can cross use centres. Tier 1 is at the top and is the most expensive at 59pm, for full access, off peak is obv cheaper n with no wkends! Wbro is tier 8 at 49pm for full access Tiers 1-7 only have a few centres in them, however from tier 8-12 theres loads of centres in each, you can cross use centres on ur tier or beneath, if u want to cross use in a tier above urs u pay extra, its nominal, between 3-10 (10 was for tier 1) The cafe\lounge area was all spotless, n comfortable n even tho near the door, was kept at a comfortable temp. I dnt kno how expensive the cafe was but val said it was reasonable n that members get 10% off everything. They sell swim\gym wear, PRICEY! I suggested they sell Body Chamois too, which are basically rubber towels like a car chammy, they are increds! Dont need a towel with these, kps u cool if u r hot, kps u hot if u r cold, sucks up ALL water immediately like magic! Brilliant! The pool is long n narrow, 20 mtrs, a gd lenth 2 swim lanes which have direction arrows so you circle the lane, max 2 ppl per swim lane i think altho it could prob work with 4. The rest of the pool is a free for all but also operates a direction policy, so those that want to swim can circle, n ppl can still walk or stretch in the middle, it kps the pool moving smoothly, so everyone who wants to swim, can. Its a good idea n works well. The jacuzi was 'large' id say 6 ppl. Steam\sauna gr8 size, easily 10-15 ppl, all on poolside. The changing rooms were spacious, spotless n fresh, swim suit spinner, tissues, shwr gel, driers, net baby cot the norm, big wide tall lockers, armband system with armband reader on wall. Showers looked powerful, but press on button so u nd to kp pressing the button, lol, toilets were fresh n clean. The gym has 2 floors, a fair size, has everything anyone would want, everything was spotless, water fountains were visible, even tho the upstairs treadmills were facing a window, which would normally give rise to major concerns about uv issues and retinal sun damage issues, the windows were only half windows so the top wall served as a perfect sun visa completely blocking the sun from ur eyes n face! Perfect! The studios were big, fresh n well equipped! Virtual screens with loads of programs to boot! Gym balls were in studio, i suggested a toe bar to hook ur feet under so u can do pilates crunches on the ball, ie huk ur toe under the bar n lean backwards to very small calm slow pulses. Spin studio was spotless n well equipped. Journey there, well drivin is always gonna b easiest n its easy to get to by car, however, i wanted somewhere i could get to by bus too as i share a car, n u can get the bus (i use x4 towards Northampton) u can get get off in twn n walk up hardwick road, brickhill, then use the walkway on wordsworth rd {40mins} which takes u to the back side of the gym, or u can stay on the bus a bit longer till it goes up northampton rd, u can get off the stop after kingsway, b4 the sainsbury, cross over n walk up stanwell rd, also onto wordsworth rd (15 min) n use the same walkway, the walkway was dotted with street lights but i went in the day so not sure how bright they are so always walk with a torch and turn on ur 'one scream' app! Lol So all in all, i think im gonna join, my local one closed dwn (Hi to those joining from Balance in Kettering! Lol) n this is the nx best option, only a tenna more than wat i was paying n much the same standard if u ask me! The travel time is double n the extra cost of travel needs to b considered, but if i can mk all that wrk its worth joining. I got till midnight to decide if i want to get the no joining fee n 1st month half price deal! Thanks for reading all this, hope it helps
