Saxby's was a pork pie factory that has now closed down. The factory was based in Wellingborough but closed down a few years ago. As well as making pork pies and gala pies Saxby's also made cutting pies as well as pies for pub chains like Weatherspoons. Weatherspoons has a pub in Wellingborough called the Redwell
The Red Well,. the Whyte Well, the Stan Well, the Lady Well and the Buckwell are the names of the five wells in Wellingborough.
The URC in Wellingborough had its foundations laid in 1874.
