Another decent pub serving large steaks. I had the 16 oz T-bone which was really good and the best steak Ive had for a long time. Portion of chips could have been bigger and perhaps a mushroom or two would have been good as well. The wife said the cod was delicious and worth the 15 or so. Dessert was a little disappointing. I had the tall ice cream with cream topping but it was more cream than ice cream. Im told the apple pie is good. We returned to the Red Lion a few weeks later and I tried the sirloin which I had medium rare but it was cooked more like rare, extremely bloody and virtually cold in the centre put me off some what.

Looks like a wake no life. 2 fillet steaks cooked to order both different requirements however came out as if both the same. Prices gone up and the service was bog standard. Very disappointed as completely opposite to previous visits
