Full marks to Dan and Northants Pilates. With small-group classes Dan is able to give everyone individual attention to ensure you are doing the moves correctly and safely and is able to offer alternatives should they be needed. The classes are welcoming and friendly with the option to swap if you can't make your regular class.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my classes with Dan Northants Pilates and cannot wait to start again in the new year. He is professional but makes it fun and enjoyable. The extra mile he goes to with the on going tutorials on line makes him worth every penny.

I first dipped my toe into the world of Pilates (and Northants Pilates specifically) some 20 years ago. Due to life circumstances I was very hit and miss, but always bemoaned the 'miss' period. I was always intending to get back into it, but a change of job, leading to shift work meant that it just wasn't feasible to get to classes. I was therefore overjoyed when I found out that classes were starting only 5 minutes from where I lived I duly signed up and was looking forward to getting started and then went on to a new shift pattern which meant I wouldn't be able to get to the same class every week. Even before I started Dan went above and beyond to sort out a way that i could attend. When I did start, the muscle memory kicked in and I soon settled back in to the routine of it. The classes are small which mean that Dan us able to concentrate on each one of us and I for one feel as though I'm getting personal rather than group training. It also means that it's a very friendly class and we can all go at our own pace. If there is a movement someone can't do, you don't get to sit that particular bit out though - Dan immediately gives you an alternative! I know that there are a lot of Pilates teachers out there, some of which are cheaper, but former personally I wouldn't go anywhere else
