I had my driving test today and my examiner was Mr Andrew (also the manager). I was a bit nervous before the test but Andrew made me feel welcomed and comfortable. He is a brilliant examiner, and I wish him all the best for his future. I am so over the moon, that I have passed my driving test todayyy!!!

Passed my test first time with two minor faults. I was assigned to Mr Andrew (manager) and couldn't have asked for a better examiner! A really good guy who ensures students have a good experience on their test day. Hoping others get the same examiner I had!

I recently passed here at the first attempt that I thought would be impossible after reading the reviews and getting others' opinions, even my husband suggested booking the next test at Lichfield if I fail the first time. This test centre has a reputation for being hard one to pass at and the examiners for being rude and super strict. I had Andrew as my examiner, he had a professional and personable approach, which helped me to ease any nerves I had before the test. We had light conversation at the beginning of the test and while waiting at the traffic light but not too much that would impact my focus. While coming to the test centre at the very end of the test, I thought no matter if I would pass or fail today, there was not a single thing that would hold the examiner accountable for. I agree, the test centre might be a little difficult compared to the others because of the tight roads and parked cars but there is nothing wrong with the examiners there. My two cents for passing the test is to have a good instructor, watch YouTube videos (there are plenty of good ones) and be smart on the test day. Take minors instead of a major because how you are looking at the particular situation might be different than what the examiner thinks. There were multiple instances with my instructor where there was clash of opinion whether it was safe/okay to go at roundabout, for that reason on the test day I was over-cautious and got 2 undue hesitation, although I knew it was safe to go, I wanted to be sure that examiner think the same. So its better to have minors and pass the test than to have a major.
