Lovegrove Adventures

Over the past 10 years I've been on a number of Lovegrove adventures. They are exactly as prescribed, full of photography adventure with wonderful models, inspiring locations and of course 1st class tuition from Damien. These adventures really took my photography to a whole new level!

I had waited a long time to be able to attend one of Damiens workshops. From the moment I signed up I was impressed by the speed of response and the care and attention to detail in the pre-workshop communications and the day itself was very well organised and executed to ensure we got the maximum benefit from our day and Damien is so enthusiastic. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

An absolutely outstanding day spent with Damien and model Sasha on Urban Portraits. The shoot was not rushed and every one of our small group was given ample time to get their shots in the bag. Damien's style of teaching is second to none, and his ability to impart knowledge in a totally relaxed manner means that you walk away, with a great understanding of what you've learned. Some of my long standing lighting "theories" were turned on their head, and the quality of the resulting images were just stunning. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has a genuine desire to take their outdoor portraits to the next level, you will be delighted with what you can achieve.

I learned about Damien Lovegrove when I was searching the internet for Classic Hollywood look. After looking into his work to create magical classic Hollywood looks straight out of the camera without much editing using continuous lights, I was very much in love with his photography techniques and lighting skills. During our 1:1 Training, Damien explained his lighting techniques which are sometimes very subtle yet very essential and effective to produce high quality images straight out of the camera. After having a session with him, I am now capable of reproducing the same Classic Hollywood look. I loved the 1:1 training with him and would love to join his adventures in the near future to learn more from him as he is the master of lighting. Highly recommended for other photographers.
