This is such a special place! We can't recommend Hide on the Hill enough. Bernie and Shaun are amazing hosts, from dropping us into town to helping me fix my bike to providing a lovely breakfast in the morning overlooking an amazing view (and accommodating a veggie). The sort of place that feels like home! Thanks for a lovely stay guys, hopefully be back in the summer :-) Lx

What a charming spot overlooking the Somerset Levels. Sadly we only had three short days at Bernie and Shaun's place but we're already looking for an excuse to plan another trip. We stayed in the self-contained cottage and it was perfect for relaxing after a day out and for drinks on the veranda overlooking the charming garden and further to Glastonbury Tor. Ask for directions to Wilkins Cider Farm which is a short walk away and is an unforgettable place to drink a few pots of cider and eat a big block of proper Cheddar.
