Stringray Globe Cafe

I went to this place on April 9th and at first everything was super nice. I got a table outside and ordered a plate of pappardelle a la carbonara - which was too creamy for my taste and not very eggy - and a glass of wine. I had my meal and a coffee, asked for the check, paid for it and left. As I was walking down the pavement putting my AirPods on one of the waitresses came up to me asking if I wanted my bill or if I had I already paid. It was not a great feeling being taken for a thief or a scammer. It was already four oclock when this happened and there werent many patrons at the place. It felt very bad and Im never stepping a foot in this place again.

Good good. Lovely cocktails. Service a bit slack and the owner was slightly negative Constantly reminded us about being short staffed. No apology for the slack service- just a winge. This would have been a higher rating if it were not for that.

Turned up for happy hour cocktails and stayed for pizza, what a great place with fantastic staff and a great atmosphere.
