Went to the Redchurch Street shop to buy a gift for a friend, Pablo the manager spent ages with me helping me pick out the perfect thing for my budget. He did a wonderful job and I felt so well taken care of and pampered even though I wasn't even the one receiving the products! Would highly recommend this shop for great and attentive service.

Terrible service for an Aesop store. I was there on Sunday 11th of July around 12:30pm to buy some shampoo. There was a sign at the door that says Order online and pick up in store which I mistakenly took it as they only allow pick up for online order. So I stood in front of the window for about 3 mins while I ordered my shampoo online. And when I got into the store and said Im picking up my order, the sales assistant said I could have come into the store and buy it. Ok I thought, why didnt you come out of your shop when you saw me standing outside of your window with my mobile phone? Anyway. I thought, it shouldnt take long for the order to come through. So let me try out some of the other stuff. So I decided to try out some items at the Tester corner before wandering to other corners of the shop. At which point the sales person very promptly came and said We are practicing a no touch policy. So try not to touch the merchandise. Like seriously?????? Are you assuming that I dont know where the tester counter is because I am Asian??? Or are you assuming that Im not fit to visit this shop because Im not dressed in a certain way? I know this is Shoreditch. But I happened to live around here which is why I went to this shop in my home clothes (Im buying shampoo for Gods sake, not a diamond ring.) Maybe the sales person woke up on the wrong side of bed. I really dont know why she bother to turn up for work that day really!
