I don't know if it's a systems issue, a staffing levels issue, a competence issue, or a perfect storm of all three, but having waited nearly an hour for a prescription I think I saw only two people leave with what they'd actually come in for, and most of the rest leaving without part or all of their prescriptions...

Slow service. Ignored by the staff whilst they finish filling the shelves. Not at all helpful.

Never have your prescription ready even when they tell you to come back at a certain time. I've had to do 2/3 trips just for one prescription. Certain members of staff very rude. I've even helped am elderly lady find something myself while a member of staff stood behind the till watching. I've moved my prescriptions to Hartford now. Well worth the extra miles.

I would like to support my local pharmacy . Its a facility we really need . But long waits , lost prescriptions , return visits as they dont have enough of even the common medications and sometimes unhelpful staff have meant I've gone to an online pharmacy , not Echo (Lloyds Direct) .

I used to use this pharmacy all the time for OTC things and it is my nominated pharmacy. However the service has declined drastically, you can rarely get a prescription filled correctly or fully and staff can be quite rude unless you are a regular/daily visitor. On my last visit the lady at the counter had a lovely long conversation with the gentleman in front of me while I waited patiently, when I got to the front it was "can I help?" I said yes, asked for my prescription and when I asked how she was, attempting the same friendliness as the gentleman, it was ignored and I was just asked for payment... Also, I accepted during lockdown that they had less staff (or so I was told by a cashier there) and changed their opening hours to match this (closing on saturdays) however it seems as though this is a permanent decision and this is causing me alot of problems in getting medications as I am a key worker who works 20miles away, I work 8am to 6pm on weekdays, as I am unable to "pop in at lunch" (which was what I was told I should do when I pointed out my work hours) I am having to leave work early just to get medications filled, causing issues with ratios at work. I feel like Lloyd's pharmacy has no sense of the community in which it is based and has made cutbacks in the most unnecessary ways. It would be useful to have at least one local pharmacy open and available to the community when needed rather than 2 on restricted hours!
