Fantastic service after my own opticians said they couldn't check my eye for something in it (which they definitely could have done) . The optician at Mullens was very helpful and referred me to the eye hospital to remove a piece of vegitation. Needless to say a change of opticians to Mullens when my eye test is due in a couple of years is in order

I have always been very pleased with the service at Mullens, I highly recommend them! All the staff are very friendly and personable. Mullens offers a personal approach that you won't get from opticians from a larger chain.

I am so flipping impressed by this village optician! Ive needed new specs for AGES, but knew at the local Specsavers, Id be delayed; sitting on rock hard chairs (which my disability wont allow); have to walk (hobble) for a long distance; and repeat the process upon the specs readiness. So I decided to try the village opticians: Mullens. Boy! Am I impressed!! I was seen almost as soon as I walked in; seats werent too painful for me; good range of frames; the optician was efficient and courteous; and the specs fitter (sorry - I dont know the proper name for this role, but I think her name is Zoe) was sweet and knew her stuff... And just when Im anticipating the prices my husband pays at Specsavers (200+), Im told the full cost is 60! I think my jaw dropped. I even, stupidly, asked, Errr...shouldnt I go for something more expensive, then? What eejit asks that? The specs were ready on the day they said, and they courtesy called me (as they also do to remind you of your appointment (which I forgot, initially, and wasnt told off about!)) for my collection. And double bonus: parking RIGHT OUTSIDE. Not all small, independent shops are more expensive than High Street brands. Mullens proved this. And their service, from receptionists to their efficiency, is fantastic. Try them. Youll like them! Only ONE suggestion: have a drinks facility for customers :-)

Lovely charming young ladies who provide a tremendous service. Within two days they rebuilt a pair of glasses which my autistic grandson had demolished - and I got a chocolate!
