Very much a home from home. Very clean and still the most equipped self catering we've stayed in!
We love Wigton as a base as its literally 30 mins from lots of main attractions in the lakes but far enough out of the touristy bits to be very relaxing.
Very well catered for children... you don't need to take cutlery/plates/bed guards/toys/dvds/high chairs/fire guards/travel cots as its all there for you. Fenced off outdoor play area for the kids too.
Joanne and Martin are great hosts and the welcome tray and the things you can order from Joanne are top notch.
Plenty of local pubs/restaurants nearby. Wigton has a lidl, independent shops and a butchers.
The farm is super eco friendly as well. You can go feed to calves and also learn about what happens on the farm.
We definitely will be back and sooner than the 2yrs we had to wait this time!
