Review for working in the warehouse on goods in. Work life balance is 3/5 they have two rotating shifts at 6-2 / 2-10 and two on 12 hours. The 12 hours are 3 days on 3 off then 3 nights on 3 off. Team moral is really poor. I believe this is down to the goods in manager he is one of if not the poorest managers I have ever come across and cant understand how he keeps his role! Hes well known for being poor at his job so cant see how he keeps it. Some good lads at AG Barr other then the manager though. The job itself is unloading mainly as your goods in (the despatch side is outsourced to great bear). You will be topping up the can line with whatever empty cans production are running and also keeping them topped up with empty chep pallets. Its an easy job but could be a lot easier if managed properly. They use counterbalance and aisle master trucks. Counterbalance is for unloading and topping up the production line, aisle mater for picking the product labels production are running. This job could be a easy 5 star but they need to replace the goods in manager for this to happen! I would not recommend A G Barr unfortunately for that reason.
