Dined here on the 9th of April for a Sunday lunch.. after having a great meal on our previous visit... but I have to express the meat on both plates. This visit was very disappointing, as we also noticed other diners having the same issue, the roast beef was wafer thin looked like it was taken out of some pre sealed roast meat pouches from a supermarket and the lamb shank was so slimy and tough to cut let alone chew. I witnessed an older lady seated across the room who spat the meat into some tissues as she was struggling to eat it. I hope the establishment see and take note of this as in this present climate this industry is on the brink! Please try your meats before service. A lamb shank the meat should fall off the bone, not see it glued to the bone!! And the roast beef is nice to see it has been carved off instead of thin slices that won't meet Sandwich standards. Please take pride in service and quality of food as it's not nice to see a struggling establishment taking shortcuts. We are paying guests. I don't mind paying for quality. Cutting corners, then you are liable to cutting down on service and customers as some customers don't like to complain or send food back. Take note and take pride in what you serve. If in doubt, try the food before you serve your paying customers.
