Wow, I think this was the best Indian meal I've ever had. Would thoroughly recommend. Wonderful service, cosy restaurant, reasonably priced. Menu highlights were the mixed tandoori grill, the samosas and the bombay potatoes (which I couldn't help continuing to eat despite being completely, completely full). Will definitely be back.

Watlington is a perfect place for a city break. In this charming place you can find Taj Clubhouse restaurant and make your travel even more amazing. Taj Clubhouse is cosy and lovely place. Really delicious and fresh dishes served with love. Service is just brilliant. For me it was like a trip to India to explore new taste experience. I tasted few menus positions and it was delicious. Portions were huge so I could enjoy the food next day too. I would love to highly recommend this restaurant. For sure I will be back again. Thank you!

Taj Club House is in a listed building on the High Street of Watlington. This intimate space is immediately welcoming with warm spices of Indian cuisine lightly perfuming the air. The attentive staff was quick with our drinks and poppadoms with relishes to whet the appetite. We had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma with Lemon rice and a Garlic Naan. The Butter Chicken was exceptionally tender and the sauce was rich with just a touch of heat. The Lamb Korma was rich with a sweet sauce and both were perfect with the lemon rice. The Taj opened right at the beginning of the pandemic and while they struggled to survive these last several years, they have earned their success by perseverance, excellent food and a dedicated staff and management. If you love Indian cuisine this gem is a dont miss.

Really enjoyed the food from here. Delicate flavours and not swimming in oil like lots of Indian take aways. Good value too, we had a set meal for 2 and there is lots left for tomorrow which is how I like it ! Definitely recommended Thanks Lee & Emma
