Village Groomers

VG is well organised and the collections are useful, HOWEVER, they do not protect dogs or deal with incidents satisfactorily. My (very gentle) 9 month old black Labrador happily attended VG for a few months, but was then attacked by another dog (an older, chunky chocolate Labrador) leaving him with a very deep 2 inch wound & 2 layers of stitches, and me with a 500 vet bill. The manager would not even tell the other dog owner what happened, let alone consider how dogs are managed (though in fairness they took him to his vet straight away). Unfortunately, Im sorry to say that theyre run primarily as a commercial business and not as a place where dog welfare comes first. I have now withdrawn my dog as its not safe for him to return.

Very poor experience. Management was rude and they didnt put my pup at ease at all. Honestly would not recommend

Harry allways comes home happy and well groomed with a pretty bo. They allways on time and very pleasent team . Harry been going to them past 3 years I can't fault them at all they allways double check to see if there is anything specific Harry needs....yes Harry and I are very happy
