Very friendly people, Caitlin and Wesley were patient and helpful during the design stage and said were able to deliver all our customisations/requests (without the price significantly inflating). A couple of issues were sorted out quickly at installation time and a few small chips in one panel were repaired later.

Buyer Beware! Do not pay in full until 100% satisfied. A lesson I learned the hard way on this occasion and a message reinforced to me by Trading Standards, when I sought recourse. Pre-sales service 4 Quality and build of the kitchen cabinets 5 Electrician and plumber 5 Karndean floor and skirting look - 5 Flooring and skirting finish zero Plasterers 2 Account Management during the build 1 Issue resolution and customer service from Managing Director of Hemel Hempstead branch zero Issue escalation and customer resolution from HQ Glasgow zero Issues: 1. CAD design inaccurate so under the sink bin did not fit. Never a suggestion it might not. No alternative discussed. 2. Flooring and skirting is NOT sealed as standard apparently Time taken 1 (work commenced on 04.05.21 unsatisfactorily completed on 29.07.21; 12 weeks versus the promised, by week 3 but maybe 2) We opted to pay the premium to have the account management of the trades; on review, it was not worth it. Do not pay in full until 100% satisfied!

Excellent kitchen and excellent service. We had a large extension to our kitchen completed last year. We had received designs and quotes from national chains and bespoke designers. We settled on The Kitchen Depot, as we felt (and still do) that they were excellent value for a better product. Charlie designed our kitchen. He listened to our needs and incorporated them without any 'hard sell'. Having had various designs, his was spot on. Some (more expensive) things we suggested, Charlie was less keen on, and he was right. Compared with other firms, it felt a very individual service. The delivery and fitting was planned and on time. The quality of the fitting (Kevin) was faultless. Our builders commented that he really knew what he was doing. We scratched our worktop within a week (and have not done since), and Kevin came and sorted it out free of charge. We really could not ask for better service. Please suppport this local business!
