Booked a table 24 hours before going to be told no table reserved. Fortunately it wasn't to busy so got a table. Ordered our food I had the Sausage and Mash which said Cumberland Sausage, mash potatoes and peas with a red onion gravy. The closest the really poor quality Sausages had come to being from Cumberland is I had been walking there the week before. They were cheap and had been deep fried. The mash potatoes were very cheap instant mash and the peas had been shown the microwave but perhaps it should have been switched on. The gravy was a cheap instant gravy with a couple of bits of red onion in it but certainly weren't cooked together. The deserts didn't get any better and at just under 20 per head for the meal was not worth a third of that. Very poor will not be going again.

Booked for family meal (8 of us) for bank holiday, to sample new menu and see refurb. In all honesty totally underwhelmed, service very slow, staff miserable never saw one smile and not particularly friendly either. The menu seemed to be good plenty of choice but the food was slow and tepid in temperature. Had to seek out our own cutlery and the clear our own table to make room for desserts as we had been sat with our used ones for best part of an hour !! Sadly didnt see much improvement from our last visit hence very rarely come despite it being our localdefinitely couldnt see where the vast amount of money been spentoh and the toilets well they most certainly needed more than a lick of paint !!
