I called into Pickfords pharmacy with my partner before Christmas for him to have his flu jab. Whilst we were there, the pharmacist - Lucy, asked if I would like to have a blood pressure check. On completing the test, she advised that she was concerned that the readings were higher than she would have liked to see and recommended that I book an appointment to see the doctor to have this checked further. She asked a few questions about my lifestyle choices and suggested ways in which I could make a few small changes that would help reduce my blood pressure. I made an appointment soon after my visit and I was prescribed medication and thankfully, my blood pressure is now at normal levels. Thank you to Lucy and all the staff at the pharmacy who are always very helpful and friendly.
