5 stars on food no doubt. I have ordered from them many times and really enjoy their wings.
Why 3 stars then?
Well, the service I have to say really disappointed me for the last 2 orders I placed, especially my most recent ordered.
Story time. The food came on time, Fab. But arrived damaged. Of course no food is packed damaged no doubt. But when I showed the driver, "what happened, you gave me my order in a damaged state." Instead of apologies the driver began to explain. "Its like this, it was this", etcetera. And he said thank you? Instead of sorry. I didn't know what to say or do at that point because I was so confused from his explanation. Bare in mind I did not give the driver any attitude or disrespect. Just asked, "what happened?". All I was hoping for or better yet wanted, was a Sorry.
OK, okay. I get that these things may happen but this is a first for me from a place I've ordered many times. What is unfortunately true but annoying, is that if a customer has ordered food then it's also that restaurant and takeaways responsibility to make sure that they can insure to appoint drivers or drivers from like uber, just-eat, deliveroo that the food arrives intact. Why I say its their responsibility? It's because that company has chosen to use their services to promote and deliver food.
Now moving on. As I was disappointed with that drivers response, I called the takeaway and explained what happened. And guess what? (If you guessed correctly great) I received the same reaction and explanation as the driver and received a thank you (confused once again). During the conversation I even spelt out SORRY for their mistake but the person just couldn't get the hint and kept saying thank you?? (When I did receive my order I did have the intention of saying I want a refund or discount but that intention changed after speaking to them on the phone.) I went to the point of saying, "im not looking for a discount (not that they even offered it) or anything like just wanted to let you know what happened" response "Thank you". Keeping in mind I was still being very respectful and kept my cool. The end.
I never thought I'd write a review like this but, because of the lack of communication, I can't hold back and WANT to share this experience.
Moving on to something a bit more positive.
For those who want to try this place please do it really is a fantastic wings place seriously I do love it. But maybe best option is to collect or eat in person or if you can't then take a chance on delivery.
