Lovely little pub with covered outdoor seating with roof heating. It's a nice place in the summer too as it has a large garden to sit in. They also have bands playing on some bank holidays. Sometimes I wish I lived in the village so I could spend all day there

A fantastic little Pub. This is a beautiful small village pub that caters for the small village of Watford and surrounding area. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with all the charms that you would have expected from a bygone era.

1st visit after the summer lovely log burner roaring away great local crowd and a beautiful pint of old hooky at a sensible price , simply perfect
