Absolutely Fantastic. After a disastrous visit to Specsavers, who informed me that my frames could not be repaired and suggested that I spend another 250 on new frames, I was not very happy to say the least. Whilst searching for a replacement set of glasses I came across Glassesonspec, and as a local trader and decided to pay them a visit. Will informed me that my glasses could be repaired for the grand sum of 10. If I had not lost the lens, that would have been the total cost. Anyway, new lenses with all the trimmings and repaired frame was 50 and they fell like a new pair of glasses. Glassesonspec will be my first port of call for all things optical in future. Thank you.

After a disastrous experience at specsavers, I was advised by a friend to visit glassesonspec. I emailed them to check that they stocked my usual varifocals: email response was really quick and very friendly. Indeed they did stock the varifocals that I had been been buying for years from specsavers (230 per pair of glasses at the last visit) and they were much cheaper (159). I was advised in the email that most people choose an alternative varifocal lens to my usual one, and that the alternative, made by Hoya, is only 89!!! So I took my latest prescription in to the Watford outlet, met the really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, chose some gorgeous new frames , and collected them 5 days later, total cost 133. The Hoya varifocals are brilliant. So now I've ordered polarised sun glasses and will probably order a pair of reactions too. I highly recommend glassesonspec, I will definitely continue to buy my new prescription lenses and frames from them.
