Hancocks

I used to order from Hancocks at least once a week, if not twice, but the delivery service is appalling. I've just placed an order now (Thursday) it won't be delivered until NEXT Thursday. Express delivery, which you have to pay 9.60 only comes in a day earlier. Surely Express should mean just that ie next day. I've actually found another supplier now, who provide decent delivery times (48 hours at most) and prices are the same, if not cheaper. I now only get things from Hancocks where I can't get from other places, due to either being out of stock or don't sell.

I do agree with some of the reviews for Hancocks Watford. There are some rude staff members but at the same time there are some lovely ones that are welcoming and ready to help. I tend to stay well clear of the rude ones. The manageress is also one of the friendliest, welcoming person there, always ready to help no matter how busy she may be. My 5 star is simply for those kind and helpful staff and the great customer service I have received from them.

I would give it a zero rating if I could. This branch's staff is extremely unprofessional and unpredictable. The guy at the checkout has a bad attitude. NO, hello, NO, please, NO, thank you. A smile is free, but it gives a lot. But these people don't even want to smile. This ain't the first time they've treated me like this. I have the impression that I am not welcome in this wholesaler (possibly due to my skin colour), so I will conduct future business elsewhere.

Watford branch Been coming here for 8 years now unfortunately not the cheapest and range of sweets not good, staff not helpful and rude at times as experienced this Sunday probably go back online and get it delivered many other suppliers cheaper and with a bigger range

Poor customer service at Hancocks Manchester. Call for an enquiry and then they will ask you to send an email. Why provide a contact number in the first place. Just spoke to Hancocks Manchester (Dwen) and a completely different experience.
