GRIDSERVE Charging Station

I tried Gridserve multiple times and it never works. Terrible

Arrived to a queue. But this soon cleared and we were able to get a charging spot whilst we had lunch.

Super quick splash and dash 12% charges on New Years Eve, and New Years Day made for pleasant journeys, both using the CCS on stall 2. 12% in the time it took to buy a coffee (MG5 LR) The Charger on the left No1 is branded Gridserve. It was busy on both our visits, Audi and MG both charging fine on it but it seems a slower speed. The one on the right No2 has no Gridserve branding just ABB, this has a 120kW CCS that worked perfectly on both occasions. Not a single sticker on it showing it is Gridserve. Contactless shows up Gridserve when the money is taken. Could do with a few more at this location especially when RangeRovers (it wasnt plugged in) decide to park in the EV spaces. CCS cable had a good reach, so the incorrectly parked Range didnt stop us charging. A Fiat 500 plugged in straight after us and a Model Y waiting. There is Tesla super chargers on the way out, these were really busy on both visits. 4 - 10 Gridserve Ultra Rapids could really help at this services. Fingers crossed they come soon. Having the chargers near the entrance to the building is convenient, but this location makes them more likely to be used by ICE cars in a hurry for a KFC. Id say there is 1 x CCS 120kW, 1 x CCS 60kW, 2 x Chademo 60kW, 2 x Type 2 22kW not sure all six could be charging at the same time unless the type2 have very long cables and none EV spaces are available.

DETAILS AS OF 5TH NOV 2022: There are only 2 chargers, both with a CCS, ChAdeMO and Type 2. One of the chargers is currently out of order - the one closest to the building main doors is the working one.

2 chargers, one was broken. Huge que. Avoid.
