Cornerstone South Africa Lodge

My dad stayed at South Africa Lodge for just 5 weeks which in time he got punched in the face by another resident which should never of been on same ward.and his dressing gown and glasses got stolen.for 2.300 a week lol never worth that but staff were lovely well the ones which were not on there phones were lol

My Grandmother has recently moved here from another home. I have been reluctant to visit, as, selfishly, I could not bare the pain of her not knowing me, as was my experience at the other place. Today, I visited my Grandmother, full of anxiety and trepidation, and she remembered me. More than that, I spent a good hour with her talking about all sorts of things and she remembered. She knew me and my wife, she knew my children, she recalled past events, my Grandmother has come back. I know that it is the medication that is making a difference, and I know it will not last forever, but for a short time, you gave me back my Grandmother, and I will never be able to say thank you enough. The staff who looked after us were professional, personable, friendly and simply lovely. I saw my Nan smile today, I saw her her belly ache laugh. I saw her happy. Whatever you are doing, please, please keep doing it. If there is anyone looking at this message deciding whether Cornerstone is suitable for their loved one, in my experience it is. This place is amazing. Thank you Cornerstone for your care, your compassion and your understanding. -Jamie

Some staff lazy ,uncaring and not good in a medical emergency or acting soon enough ,not spotting signs
