Camping at Banks (walkers/cyclists only) No Vehicles

Great staff, very service minded and helpful. Great for trackers on the wall.

I recently stayed at this campsite and had a great time. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and it was easy to get around. The fact that it's family-run made it feel more personal. They even offered drinks, which was a nice touch. The wash facilities were also very good and the views were stunning. However, the site is very simple, which could be a plus or minus depending on what you're looking for. On the downside, there were no showers available and there wasn't anything nearby, not even a pub. Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful and simple camping experience with great views, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Stayed the night in the Shepherds Hut. Had an absolutely fabulous night. Cant describe how cosy it was with the wood burner on. Would highly recommend it.

Stayed in the Shepherds Hut. Magical location and a lovely cosy hut. Comfortable beds and an amazing log burner - it would be warm in there even in the depths of winter.
