Great service, response and turnaround time. The project was finished to the agreed budget and looked and worked great when finished. However, then the issues started. Firstly, it was small things such as the pictures used did not match the content and all had to be redone, pages with similar layout had additional gaps between elements compared others had to be fixed and so on. The biggest problem came when the theme they used had an update, as it took the site fully down. The site had to be accessed in recovery mode and the theme changed to get it back online. At the same time, all their programming for the site no longer worked and it took a lot of time and stress to get the site back to a usable condition. However, a lot of the features and elements included within the design is lost. The site is not hosted by them and was designed based on that. However, the first update to the theme they used caused it to crash. ------------------ Hi James Please see below my feedback to your response Thank you for the offer on the backup; however, it does not help me as it prevents me from any future updates on the theme used. I did not hit the one-click update on the wrong theme as you mention. The theme you used for my site is the Salient Child Theme and the last update to that theme crashed my site and triggered following automated email from WordPress. - Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email I had to change to the standard Salient theme to get the site up and running again; however, it caused a lot of issues with the site and I am still trying to get it in a reasonable state. I needed a site that was easy to maintain and did not require ongoing expenses from your hosting and maintenance support. It was stated before you started that the site likely wouldnt be affected by theme updates, as that was one of my main requirements, but the first theme update took it offline right away.
