The Bell Inn

The home cooked food was delicious! The background music was nice to listen to and the Landlord was polite, helpful and pleasant! My wheelchair was no bother at all. Book in advance though because it's very popular!!

Good beer, dog friendly and the guy behind the bar was welcoming. We travelled by steam train from Blue Anchor Bay, Got the impression that not all the locals like holiday makers, there was a guy standing by the bar who was moaning about the trains until another local made a point that the town needed the train that brought people to the town, a shame as it did make us feel uncomfortable in what was actually a lovely pub.

Absolutely shocking, landlord was so rude! Not happy that we wanted a few bottles of wine with our lunch. Even commenting when ordering food as he was simply too lazy to take our orders! 100% would never visit again!! The pub should be re-named The Bellend!
